ADEC is a non-profit organization that aims to empower individuals with disabilities by providing various services and opportunities for personal growth. One such initiative is “Art by ADEC,” a program that enables people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to express their creativity through art projects with the guidance of dedicated and skilled staff members.
JSK Hospitality’s Fairfield Inn and Suites in Elkhart, IN, has formed a meaningful partnership with ADEC, exemplifying their dedication to giving back to the community and promoting inclusion. On September 1st, September 22nd, and November 17th guests visiting the hotel’s lobby will find the ADEC team at our Notre Dame Football table, where artistic creations from Art by ADEC will be available for purchase.
The proceeds from the sale of these artworks will be shared in a manner that reinforces the core values of this initiative. 50% of the sale will go directly back to the artist, providing them with a sense of accomplishment and recognition for their hard work. The remaining 50% will be allocated to the art program at ADEC, enabling them to purchase essential supplies and continue fostering a nurturing environment for artistic expression among their participants.
Beyond the artwork sales, JSK Hospitality is committed to furthering the impact of this initiative. Both guests and staff members will have the opportunity to make voluntary donations, contributing to the art program’s sustainability and supporting the continuous growth and development of the individuals at ADEC.
