Kenneth L. Herman serves as Executive Vice President for JSK Hospitality. Prior to joining JSK in 2010, Kenneth held several senior-level management positions from Corporate & Regional Operations to Multi-Unit Sales & Marketing and Property Level Management.
His 20 years of hospitality experience began in the college town of Notre Dame, Indiana as a part-time Housekeeper.
Over the course of Mr. Herman's career he's had the honor of working with several leading hospitality management companies such as: White Lodging Services, Bristol Hotels & Resorts, Bass Hotels & Resorts, Focus Hospitality Services and HVS Hotel Management.
Mr. Herman has been diligent in obtaining numerous industry recognized certifications such as: CHA, CPO and IHG General Manager brand certifications for: Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Staybridge Suites and Candlewood Suites. He has also had the privilege of attending the acclaimed Purdue University IAHI/IHG General Manager Academy.
Over nearly 2 decades, Mr. Herman has had the opportunity to gain a vast array of experience and knowledge in successfully opening and operating numerous branded and independent hotels & indoor water park facilities across the Midwest. His expertise ranges from Select Service & Extended Stay to Full Service hotels including but not limited to the Hilton, IHG, Carlson, Choice and Wyndham hotel brands.
In addition to successfully opening hotels, Mr. Herman has led several successful hotel conversion projects along with managing bank owned properties and hotels under court appointed receivership from day of takeover through the sale of the asset.
